During the week-long search for the Samoan Clipper, a Pan American Airways flying boat lost in 1938 off of American Samoa, several guests joined the expedition by calling into the control van and connecting with the Nautilus team on watch. Search for the Samoan Clipper
Working with the Air/Sea Heritage Foundation, the objective of this expedition is to locate, identify, and document the wreckage of Samoan Clipper, a Pan American Airways Sikorsky S-42B flying boat lost off the northwest coast of Tutuila, American Samoa in January 1938.
