Tyler Kumes
Tyler Kumes is a junior at The Prout School in Wakefield, Rhode Island. Tyler is extremely passionate about all things ocean related, especially sailing and marine biology/conservation. Tyler has volunteered at the Mystic Aquarium, Biomes Marine Biology Center, NOAA in Narragansett RI and Save the Bay. This passion extends into all environmental aspects, adventure, and exploration.
Tyler Kumes is currently a junior at The Prout School and hopes to study marine biology/conservation in college.
"Joining the sailing team at Prout freshman year sparked an interest in all things ocean for me, and that interest has turned into a passion. I could not be more excited to be joining the Honors Research program and to be working on the nautilus."
