Stephani Gordon

Before becoming a filmmaker Stephani Gordon spent many years as a marine field biologist, most of it at sea or on remote islands. She swears by those years in the field as an ideal training ground for the challenge of making documentaries. When filming, her goal is to share the excitement of field science and to take viewers into the heart of wild and remote places few people ever see.

Stephani has a Bachelor of Science in Biology from UNC- Chapel Hill, a Master of Arts in Biology from Humboldt State University, and a Master of Fine Arts in Science and Natural History Filmmaking from Montana State University.
