Stella Barth
Stella Barth is in her third year as a 7th and 8th grade science teacher at The Williams School in New London, CT. She enjoys learning from her students and developing hands-on labs and activities to foster their interest in science. During the summer of 2013, Stella taught science at the Academy of Cultural Exchange summer program for middle school-aged children through the Drop-In Learning Center in New London, CT. She used JASON Project materials to educate students about E/V Nautilus and deep sea exploration. Prior to working at Williams, Stella taught life science and biology as a Teaching Fellow at Newton Country Day School in Newton, MA.Stella graduated from Harvard College in 2010 with a degree in neurobiology. During the summer of 2009, she studied and worked abroad at the RIKEN Brain Science Institute near Tokyo.
