Silke Wetzel is a biological technician in the Symbiosis department of the Max-Planck-Institute for Marine Microbiology in Bremen, Germany. Silke is supporting scientists with their research, mainly focusing on the exploration of symbiotic marine animals like bivalves, snails and gutless oligochaetes.
Silke Wetzel completed her vocational training in 1999 at the technical college in Oldenburg, Germany, as a state certified biological technician.
