Erika Young

Erika Young is a navigator on the E/V Nautilus.
Erika is currently beginning her senior year at the University of Delaware where she majors in Geology and minors in Marine Studies and French. She is a Rhode Island native and her hobbies include arts and crafts, antiquing, camping, surfing, fishing, snorkeling, boating, and singing. She is currently working with Dr. Art Trembanis at UD’s Coastal Sediments Hydrodynamics & Engineering Lab (CSHEL), where she works as a lab assistant analyzing geophysical data. Erika plans to apply to graduate school in the fall, and hopes to further research marine geophysics or sediment dynamics.
