I design mechanical infrastructure for Ocean Networks Canada
What sparked your initial interest in your career?
Living on Vancouver Island always made the ocean a point of interest.
Who influenced you or encouraged you the most?
My dad worked in technology at the Institute of Ocean Sciences
What element of your work/study do you think is the most fascinating?
Mechanical design in extreme environments
How did you get involved with the Ocean Exploration Trust?
Working on the Nautilus is a cool experience through being part of the Ocean Networks Canada expedition
What other jobs led you to your current career?
I had co-op work terms at Ocean Networks Canada and Rocket Lab before graduating and taking on a full time position at Ocean Networks Canada

Bachelor of Engineering, Mechanical Engineering Technology Diploma, Carpentry Red Seal

Outdoors, sports
