U.S. Geological Survey, Pacific Coastal and Marine Science Center 

Amy is a Research Oceanographer at the USGS in Santa Cruz, California, USA, where she leads the USGS Global Marine Minerals Resources project. Her work focuses on the geochemistry of marine minerals including all aspects of water-rock interactions such as precipitation, alteration, and the role of nanoparticles in mineral accumulation. Amy obtained her Ph.D. from the University of Delaware. She is a shore-based collaborator of the NA134 expedition as part of this project.
